What is eNPS?

In short, eNPS or Employee Net Promoter Score measures the degree of employee engagement and well-being in a company, by simply asking a single question, with an accompanying in-depth comment:

"On a scale of 0-10, how likely is it that you would recommend our workplace to others?"

The survey continuously provides a qualified insight into organizational health and well-being, and eNPS is typically used more often than the annual engagement survey - up to every 14 days to measure the temperature in the company.
How do I create an eNPS survey in Woba?
When doing an eNPS survey in Woba, employees can respond on a scale from 1 - 10, as shown on the scale above. Depending on what you answer on this scale, you will be categorized as promoter, passive or detractor respectively. The divisions can be interpreted as follows:
9 to 10 = Promoters: Happy and loyal employees. They care about their jobs and the company. They are very likely to recommend the company to their friends
7 and 8 = Passives: This employee group is often not particularly committed and could be looking for a new job if the opportunity arises.
0 to 6 = Critics: Are not particularly satisfied with the company and their job. There is a risk that they have a negative impact on colleagues and customers.

How is eNPS calculated
The total eNPS for the survey is calculated on a scale from -100 to +100 and is calculated as the percentage of promoters minus the percentage of detractors, just like the formula below:
eNPS = Promoters (%) - Detractors (%)
An excellent eNPS score is between 50 to 100. An eNPS score of 0 to 50 is considered good, while a score of -100 to 0 is bad.
You can see realtime results from your eNPS survey in the Overview in Woba Analytics. You can see both your Employee Net Promoter Score, a smiley based on this, as well as the distribution of promoters, passives and detractors in the company or the desired filtering. What can eNPS be used for?
eNPS can primarily be an eye-opener about how your employees are feeling. In order to improve the employee experience, you need to understand how they feel. eNPS is the first step towards getting the insights you need to ensure staff are happy and engaged.
In addition, eNPS can, among other things, used for benchmarking, both internally and with others in the same industry. In Woba, you can benchmark against previous eNPS surveys or with the industry in both the Overview and Risk Mappet.
Ongoing eNPS measurements are also a good tool to keep an eye on how your employees feel over time. Because of its simplicity, eNPS is the perfect metric to measure and compare employee experience and mood over different time periods.
