Risk Map: From Dashboard to Action (en)

Risk Map helps HR, HSE, and managers quickly identify risks and resources through employee feedback, enabling proactive action to prevent problems.

DEL 1: Risk Map Overview – a quick snapshot of risks and wellbeing trends

Risk Map is an interactive matrix that displays wellbeing trends within the organization—based on employee responses. This overview becomes available once there is an active survey, and the data continuously builds a clear picture of the answers over time.

🔎 How does it work?

  • Each row represents a department based on the established organizational structure and the departments that have participated in the survey.

  • Each column consists of a theme defined by the designer.

  • Each cell is a combination of the two above, color-coded based on the average score.

Farve Betydning
🟩 Green High well-being / Strength area
🟨 Yellow Focus area
🟥 Red Risk area – requires action
⚪ Gray Not enough data to display / No score
 😫 Rød 0 to 2,5                                    😐 Gul  2,6 til 3,0                             😁 Grøn  3,1 til 4,0

The Risk Map provides a quick overview that helps leaders and HR spot trends and prioritize their efforts.

📊 PART 2: Risk Map Deep-Dive – understand the root causes

Next step is to understand why a cell lights up red, yellow, or green. By clicking on a cell, a detailed view opens that combines data and context. If you click on a cell in the 'Total Score' column, you will be directed to data for the entire company. If you click on a cell next to a selected department, you will see data exclusively from that department.
NåWhen you click on a cell, you are taken to the view below."

Du får adgang til:

  • The exact questions behind the score

  • Comparisons between departments, the entire company, and the industry (if your surveys are set up for this)

  • Comments from employees

This makes it possible to move from symptom to cause — and from there to a relevant solution.

🛠️ PART 3: From insight to a concrete action plan

The most important thing about the Risk Map is not what you see – but what you do.
A data-driven overview is only valuable if it is turned into action.

🔄 The Preventive Process:

  1. Dashboard: Identify departments with fluctuations

  2. Dive in: Examine scores, comments, and developments

  3. Interpret: Understand the cause through context and dialogue

  4. Act: Create an action plan — directly from the Risk Map

Woba offers result reviews and workshops that help you turn data into insight — and insight into targeted action. Get more value from your surveys and ensure your efforts hit precisely where the need is greatest. Contact us at Support@woba.io if you have any questions.

In Woba, you can attach an action plan directly from the view. Here you define:

  • 🎯 Goals (e.g., “Increase score on perceived recognition by 10%”)

  • 👤 Responsible parties (managers, HR, health and safety reps, etc.)

  • 📅 Deadlines

🧾 PART 4: FAQ

Can I filter the Risk Map?

Yes – in Risk, you have two filters you can use:

All filters: Here you can filter data entered at the employee level, compare departments, and much more. Read more about our filters here (LINK HER)

Can I share or download the Risk Map?

Yes – reports can be downloaded as PDF or PPT, and you can share them with relevant leaders so they only see their own areas via our filters. You can also give leaders access to Woba, allowing them to view data and generate reports themselves. When creating a report, you can choose to include your Risk Map.

What is the Risk Map, and what is it used for?
