The purpose of exit surveys is to gather feedback from employees, who have voluntarily resigned from a company, during their offboarding process to gain insightful data about why they are leaving and what can be improved in the company.
On a high level, the plan is that exit surveys should work like this in Woba:
- The HR department schedules an exit survey for the next year or so, for all departments whose employees should (potentially) be included in the exit survey.
- This is just like any other Woba survey, except that employees do not get an invitation to participate unless they resign.
- When the exit survey is running, then when an employment end date is set on an employee record (whether through the frontend or API), then the employee automatically gets an invitation to participate in the exit survey. By default it’s only employees who have resigned voluntarily who gets invited (but its configurable who should get invited or not).
- The HR Department can track the exit survey in the Overview and Risk Map to continuously track and analyze the data.
