🙋‍♀️ Getting Started as an Employee (en)

How to get started with Woba – and make the most of your employee portal.

Purpose of “Getting Started”

Woba is a digital platform that helps organizations measure, act, and retain their most important resource — their people. Our vision at Woba is to create a better world by improving workplace health and safety through proactive, data-driven insights.

As an employee, your well-being is the foundation of everything we do in Woba — and that means you play a central role. Your feedback is what enables your organization to build a healthy work environment, prevent stress, and improve well-being.

But Woba isn’t just a tool for HR, managers, or safety reps.
With your personal employee portal, Woba becomes a tool for you to:

  • Respond to surveys and assessments

  • Track your own results over time

  • View and contribute to your team’s action plans

  • Access practical tools and inspiration to support your physical and mental well-being

👉 In other words, Woba is both a tool for your organization and a personal resource you can use actively in your daily work life.

🎥 Video Guide: Getting Started as an Employee

This video gives you a quick overview of:

  • How to log in and navigate your employee portal

  • How anonymity works

  • How to view your own results

  • How to follow team action plans and initiatives

  • How to use the portal’s tools to support your well-being

🧾Key Steps in the Process

1. Understand the Purpose

Your organization uses Woba to:

  • Gain insight into employee well-being and the work environment

  • Prevent stress, absenteeism, and dissatisfaction

  • Build a workplace where everyone can thrive and perform sustainably

👉 What this means for you: your voice matters — and you now have access to a tool that also supports you personally.

2. Understand Your Anonymity

Your responses are anonymous if the survey is marked as anonymous. In that case, your answers are only shown as part of a group. Woba uses a minimum threshold of 3 people — this means at least 3 individuals in a group must have completed the survey for results to be visible. Your organization may choose a higher threshold, but never lower than 3.

If a survey is not anonymous, you will be clearly informed before you respond.

👉 Remember: No one — not even your manager — can see what you personally answered in an anonymous survey. So please be as honest as possible; your feedback is essential for improving the work environment.

3. Use Your Employee Portal Actively

In the employee portal, you can:

  • Respond to surveys directly

  • View your own results and how they contribute to the overall picture

  • Track action plans and see how your feedback is being acted on

  • Access practical tools, exercises, and articles to help support your mental and physical well-being

👉 Woba is not just a “one-time survey” — it’s an ongoing tool to support you in your workday. Based on your survey responses, the portal will even suggest exercises and tools tailored to you.

4. Stay Informed About What Happens After Surveys

After each survey, you can use the employee portal to view your responses and track your development over time.
How much of the organization’s results you can see depends on how your company uses Woba. Some organizations choose to share:

  • General results and insights from the survey

  • Initiatives launched as a result

  • Updates on action plans and follow-up

👉 Your employee portal gives you insight into your own feedback and — depending on what your organization shares — an overview of the company's efforts and focus areas.

💡 Tips for You as an Employee

  • Take your time to answer honestly and add comments — it truly makes a difference
  • Log into the portal and explore tools that can support your personal well-being
  • Take responsibility for your own well-being — and help others support theirs
  • Keep an eye on action plans to stay informed about what your team is working on
  • Remember: Even small inputs from you can lead to big improvements over time — your voice is essential in creating the best possible work environment for you and your colleagues.
