Access and user management in Woba
In Woba, there are two types of administrators, which determine what data and features they can access, as well as how they can manage users.
🏢 Company Administrator
Data Access: Entire organization
Can view and manage:

All surveys, reports, and action plans

All employees and departments

Organization settings
Can create/edit/delete:

Other administrators
-
Departments and sub-departments
-
All employee profiles
User management at employee level:

Create new employees (regardless of department)

Move employees between departments

Assign or remove administrator rights

Change access rights (e.g., survey access, advanced filtering, etc.)
👤 Department Administrator
Data Access: Own departments (and sub-departments, if enabled)
Can view and manage:

Surveys and reports for own departments
-
Department-level action plans
Limitations:

Cannot create/edit other administrators
-
Cannot change organization settings
Possible individual permissions:
✅ Can view own departments
✅ Can edit own departments
✅ Can view own employees
✅ Can edit own employees
✅ Can view and edit sensitive data for own employees
✅ Can create own employees
✅ Can delete own employees
✅ Can view other administrators
How are they created?

Assigned by a company administrator
2. How to create an administrator
Only company administrators can create new administrators.

Go to Organization → Admins

Click Add admin
-
Select an employee from the list
-
Assign role: Company Administrator or Department Administrator

Assign departments (if department administrator)

Save and send invitation
3. How to edit or remove an administrator
Edit:

Go to Organization → Admins → Edit
-
Change roles, departments, or settings
Remove:
-
Click the trash icon next to an admin
-
The user remains as an employee but loses admin access
