Update the status of an action plan

A guide to updating the status of an action plan

Once you have created an action plan, it will have an associated status based on the period of the action plan.

  • If the period for the action plan is in the future, the status will be Not Started.
  • If the period for the action plan is now, the status will be Ongoing.
  • If the period for the action plan is in the past, the status will be Overdue.
An action plan's status changes automatically between these, but you can also update the status manually. When an action plan is completed, you can assign it the status Done.

You update the status of an action plan by going to: Actions > Action plans

Update status of an action plan

1. Navigate to Action Plans.

2. Find the action plan you want to change the status of, by selecting the right survey and department in the filtering. You can also use the search function.

3. Click the relevant status next to the action plan.

4. Select the new status for the action plan.

Note: an action plan that has exceeded its time period will always be listed as "Exceeded" until it is given the status "Done".
