A: Yes, you are 100% anonymous when you submit a whistleblower case through Woba.
Q: Do the whistleblower unit receive a notification when a report has been submitted and where?
A: The whistleblower unit will receive an email notifying them that a whistleblower case has been created. To view the report, the relevant person needs to log in to Analytics.
Q: Will a notification appear on the whistleblower unit's screen during screen sharing?
A: It depends on the notification settings of the responsible person. However, the email will not contain more than the information that a whistleblower case has been created.
Q: Why doesn't the employee receive a notification when their inquiry has been addressed?
A: To maintain maximum anonymity, the employee will not receive updates via email. As many companies use employees' work emails, often managed by the company, there is a risk of identifying employees involved in active whistleblower cases in Woba. Therefore, the employee can only access updates by logging into the platform themselves.
Q: Who handles cases?
A: Only the whistleblower unit has access to view whistleblower cases. For this reason, the same unit are also fully responsible for handling any cases that may be created.
Q: Does Woba assess which inquiries fall within the framework of the whistleblower scheme?
A: No, it is entirely up to the whistleblower unit to assess the reports.
Q: What if the whistleblower unit goes on vacation?
A: Your whistleblower unit can consist of multiple employees. If the entire whistleblower unit goes on vacation, you can send us an email at support@woba.io. Provide the name and email of the new unit. Please note that we will not make any changes until you contact us again.
Q: Why can't I see the Whistleblower tab in Analytics?
A: Only the whistleblower unit can see the Whistleblower tab in Analytics, it will not be visible to any other administrators. If you want to submit a report as an employee, you can do so on woba.io.
